17th Annual VBPD Shooting Team Match

Looking for the 2013 VBPD Competition?

 

The VBPD/FoP#8 Shooting Team will host its 17th Annual Law Enforcement Shooting Competition on April 28th 20120 at the VBPD Firearms Training Facility located aboard Academi in Moyock, NC. All full-time sworn local, state, federal and military law enforcement personnel are eligible and welcome to attend. Participants will compete in 6 scenario based courses of fire designed to test not only shooting skill and weapons handling but also critical thinking. Participants will utilize their standard issue weapons and duty equipment for the competition. Scores will be based on accuracy and time. This is NOT a sanctioned IPSC, IDPA or USPSA match.  Each participant will be scored and ranked as an individual. Additionally, two and four person teams will also be scored and ranked. Top ranking competitors will be awarded prizes. Industry representatives will be on hand with new products and be available for consultation. Lunch, a T-shirt and a competition program are included in the $40 fee. Lunch and T-shirts will be available for spectators but need to be preordered. A raffle table will be available for everyone in attendance. A portion of this year’s proceeds will be donated to Operation Smile.
