]]> Advanced Carbine Operators Course Class #08-06In mid-June 2008 the Virginia Beach Police Department Faternal Order of Police Lodge #8 (VBPD/FOP8) Shooting Team hosted the Aggressive Defensive Solutions team at their range facilities to conduct an Advanced Carbine Operators Course for members of their team and the department. The four day course included several customized classroom segments as well as multiple hours on the range. Stress shooting, accuracy at distance, day and night qualification courses, written tests and several live fire iterations in the kill house made up the body of the week. Everyone did well and spirits were high at the end of each long and tiring day. Brian James of the VBPD SWAT Team was the overall high shooter and was awarded the ”Black Shirt” for the class. I was impressed with the hard work and attention to detail that was displayed by the students. The class was a real pleasure to teach. I was provided excellent assistance by my Adjunct Instructors Ron Ehlers and Shawn Johnson. Thanks boys!!

]]> Aggressive Defensive Solutions is proud to announce that we will be expanding our structured military tactical course offering in 2007 to include: Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT) and Convoy Survivability. These are courses we have been teaching as part of our Custom Course work, but due to the overwhelming response to these courses we will be offering them as a standalone option.
For the Law Enforcement Professional we will be offering a tactical course in Urban Operations and for DHS the Incident Command Course. This course will be taught by federally certified IS-900 instructors and will provide the student with the basic knowledge in Incident Command.
